No effort has been spared or corners cut in developing the lead truck for the tender, it is full sprung and prototypically equalized. The lubrication lines on the truck frame and leading to the journal boxes are all individually applied. The journal boxes are ball-bearing equipped as are all axle journals. You can see the complete brake detail and the miniature binding bars and miniature fasteners that retain the journal boxes in the truck frame. The wheel sets are all stainless steel and true scale in dimension.
